EXPECTATIONS:

People with healthy teeth and gums with stains or a yellowish tint seem to get the best result. You should not experience any heat or discomfort. You may sometimes feel a little tingling or perhaps a slight sensitivity. Teeth and/or gums may be sensitive for a short time after treatment. You may see temporary blanching on the gums, but this is normal and will typically disappear in less than a day. Your teeth will never be whiter than your genetic traits. All teeth whiten differently. Possible demineralization (white spots) may appear for people with braces or porous enamel, but again this disappears within 24 hours. The treatment is safe for veneers, killings, crowns, and false teeth.

AFTERCARE & FOLLOW UP

For at least 24 hours after the process, please avoid consuming coffee, tea, dark-colored soda, red wine, curry, beetroot, and other food or drink that may stain your newly whitened teeth. A good rule of thumb is: if it could stain a white shirt, it could stain your teeth. You can use “Sensodyne™” toothpaste for any sensitivity for immediate relief. Of course, we suggest you brush and floss as your dentist directs. There is no guarantee of the longevity of your whitening result, as it depends on your eating, drinking, and social habits.
